Is my meat fresh or frozen?
Always fresh unless stated otherwise.
How will I know the fridge life of my fresh meat?
All products will be dated with their ‘packed on’ and ‘use by’ dates. Please remember to refrigerate your fresh meat between 2 and 4 degrees celsius.
When will my delivered order arrive?
Place your order before 2pm and we will aim to deliver on the next business day (subject to your delivery area). (Orders for Saturday need to be in by 12pm Friday)
How will I know what time my order will arrive?
It is very difficult to provide an exact time to our customers. However, you will be sent a notification when your order is completed and about to be sent out on the truck. So you will know when your order is on its way!
What Dunedin suburbs do you deliver to?
We aim to provide our delivery service to most Dunedin city suburbs every WEEKDAY.
Fairfield, Mosgiel and Green Island on WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY.
When placing an order please keep these delivery days in mind!
What about Saturday delivery?
We also offer a Saturday morning delivery service to most Dunedin City suburbs. Please ensure order is placed before 12pm on Friday for delivery Saturday morning. We aim to deliver to your home between 8am and 11am. At the checkout, please select the Saturday delivery option!

How will my meat be delivered?
We own 2 refrigerated trucks that will deliver your order. You can be assured safe delivery temperatures are maintained.
What if I’m not home when you deliver?
We will be operating a LEAVE POLICY on all our deliveries. So please attempt to be home once notified that your order is ready to be sent out on the truck. Alternatively, please 'add a note to your order' at the CART page by providing us detailed DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS to ensure the delivery can be completed correctly. For example: “Please leave on the front porch inside the chilly bin provided”.
How will we achieve safe delivery of my order?
Unless otherwise stated by 'add a note to your order' at the CART page (which we strongly suggest you provide), our driver will knock on the door, leave the product, achieve a safe distance and acknowledge the customer if possible when leaving your property.
Can I get an order delivered to my elderly parents?
Yes! At the CHECKOUT you will have the option to enter a delivery address different to your billing address. Please remember to include detailed delivery instructions at the CART page.
Can I pick up my online order from the shop?
Yes! No problem, just select the ‘Pick Up’ option when going through the checkout.
Can I pick up my order and pay by cash?
Sorry! No cash sales from online orders can currently be accepted.
I have made a ‘pick up’ order, do I need to wait until the next day to pick it up?
Not necessarily. Once we have prepared your order, you will receive a notification that it is ready to be collected from the shop. Depending on the time you place your order, this may be the same day!
The meat that I really want is not advertised in your online shop?
No problem! We can help! Please do not hesitate to contact us and we can arrange a special order. We can add any particular products you cannot see online to your existing order and email you an updated invoice.
